ON STAGE

THEATER

In 2009, I became an original castmember of Stranger Things Have Happened. For over eight years we performed hundreds of shows, in front of thousands of people. We did radio shows. We did commercials. We made a tv-series. Good times.

Through improv I learned that I loved storytelling, and I learned that the stage was my way of doing so.

I left the company in 2018 to explore the rest of the universe and focus on my career as a freelance actor and storyteller, and as artistic director of tgEntropy.

Notable ensembles include Stichting Peerd (Timbertown Follies), Stichting Iemandsland (Iemandsland, Roegzand), THTR (Das Kabarett), Improsa, and Stranger Things Have Happened.

ON SET

FILM & TV

Although I prefer a live connection with an audience, I also appear in films, and series. Notable productions include North (2012), Timbertown: Documentary (2014), and de Kerstvloed (2015)

I also support 48 Hour short films. After all, there’s no excuse not to get together and get creative. Notable award winning shorts include the Dutchess (2014), Final Cut (2016), and The Underachiever (2016)

Distributed commercials include Albert Heijn, Siemens, Impress.Ly, and CoolBest.

BEHIND THE SCENES

DIRECTING &
SUPPORT

Thanks to the Theater Science MA program at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen I received an internship as an intern director’s assistant under Ola Mafaalani at the Noord Nederlands Toneel, during their initial production of Fellini.

After the internship I became assistant director to Theo de Groot at Stichting Peerd for Timbertown Follies, which I also played in, and Hoes en Heerd.

As a teacher at the VRIJDAG theater school I’ve also taken on the mantle of director to direct various productions with students (Dead And…, TROIA), and as artistic director of tgEntropy I support several running projects, including Mezrab in the House Groningen, and No Restrictions.
